Old News trailer, a 3 minute overview of the documentary's highlights

Here, you'll find multiple means of viewing the online trailer for Old News: the oldest motion pictures in the world, discovered. The video documentary is based on the discovery and evaluation of petroglyphs found in southeastern Colorado and the Oklahoma panhandle suggesting Celts came over from the Old World at least a thousand years before Columbus sailed the Atlantic. They wrote their inscriptions in Gaelic using Ogham consonants found to match a style in the Book of Ballymote, preserved at the National Museum of Ireland. Many of the messages deal with carefully etched sundials that are exact targets for light and shadows plays on the equinoxes, the summer solstice, and on special seasonal cusps, the cross quarters. Many stellar constellations known to the Old World ancients are also depicted in carvings and, what's more, there is distinctive evidence of Mithras worship, known to predate Christianity. In fact, one site is dated to August 8, 471 CE based on a triple planetary alignment in the Gemini constellation in the pre-dawn hours of the sacred cross quarter holiday known to Ancient Celts as Lughnasad. Standard definition NTSC color and stereo. This 85 minute documentary released in 2005, but twenty years in the making, is available for sale on DVD at onter.net, a promotional website with much more information.
